At cutover, telemetry and detections for that source are no longer available for use through the SCA user experience.
- October 29–November 3, 2026 (recommended preparation): Confirm which SCA alerts require replacement delivery, test the Cisco XDR notification destination and review the activity available to your organization. This is a preparation period, not an automatic SCA shutoff.
- November 4, 2026 (planned): Selected cloud activity, API and Authentication detections are planned to move to Cisco XDR. Examples from the planned list are AWS CloudTrail Logging Impaired, AWS API Gateway API Key Created, Azure Virtual Machine Run Command Executed and GCP IAM Policy Modified. For affected AWS detections, the corresponding SCA webhooks stop when those XDR detections become active. Review any new findings and verify your replacement Cisco XDR Workflow notifications reach the intended destination.
- November 4–11, 2026 (planned): For cloud, API and Authentication detections enabled for your organization, review any new Cisco XDR Detection Finding against the related activity in Activities Viewer and check its associated incident when one is created. Confirm the replacement Cisco XDR Workflow notification reaches the intended recipient or endpoint. Record the source and event time for any missing finding, incident or notification, and open a Cisco Support ticket. Keep SCA settings in place until you receive source-specific guidance.
- November 12, 2026 (planned): The planned network and cloud-flow group includes New IP Scanner, Internal Port Scanner, persistent remote-control connections and SMB connection spikes. Planned watchlist examples include AWS CloudTrail and Azure Activity Log watchlist hits and threat-intelligence IP matches. For alert types your team uses, review the corresponding Cisco XDR Detection Findings as they become available and check the intended alert delivery. Watchlist configuration follows a separate schedule; keep existing SCA rules and settings until you receive source-specific guidance.
- December 7, 2026 (tentative target): SCA UI deprecation remains the planning target. Before then, confirm the Cisco XDR views and notification workflows used in daily operations. We will provide additional supported-workflow, historical-data and support guidance ahead of the planned UI change.
