Remote camera preset control fails on multiple Cisco Codec Pro and Room Bar Pro devices running RoomOS 26.6 and 26.7. When attempting to recall camera presets through the web UI or Developer API, these issues occur:
Web UI displays error message: "Could not change selected main source. Error: t.filter is not a function. (In 't.filter(function(t){var n;return(null===(n=null==t?void 0:t.CameraControl)||void 0===n?void 0:n.CameraId)===e})', 't.filter' is undefined)".
Remote preset activation through Developer API works intermittently but requires multiple attempts.
Camera presets fail to activate consistently when triggered remotely.
Vega traceback errors appear in device logs during remote preset activation attempts.
The same remote camera preset functionality works correctly on devices running RoomOS 11.38. Local camera preset control from the touch panel continues to function normally on all affected devices.
This issue is caused by a software bug in RoomOS 26.6 and 26.7 that affects remote camera preset control functionality. The issue has been identified and tracked under Cisco Bug ID CSCwv66083.
While waiting for the software fix, this workaround can be used for remote camera preset control:
Use xCommand API commands through the Developer API interface:
xCommand Camera Preset Activate presetid: 1
Expected successful output:
OK
*r PresetActivateResult (status=OK):
** end
For additional presets:
xCommand Camera Preset Activate presetid: 2
Note: The xCommand workaround can require multiple attempts and takes longer to execute compared to normal operation. Local preset control from the device touch panel remains fully functional and can be used as an alternative.
To verify camera preset functionality:
Step 1: List available camera presets.
xCommand Camera Preset List
Step 2: Test preset activation locally from touch panel.
Navigate to the device touch panel and manually activate camera presets to confirm local functionality.
Step 3: Monitor device logs during remote preset attempts.
Check the Messages.log file for vega traceback errors when attempting remote preset control.
Affected devices show this error pattern in Messages.log during remote preset activation:
vega[1073]: Error at 2026-07-22 14:51:58.933650
vega[1073]: Traceback (most recent call last):

Working devices running RoomOS 11.38 show successful preset activation without errors:

main[2705]: CuilApp[1]: Successfully changed configuration '/Video[1]/Configuration[1]/Camera[1]/SavedPosition[1]/Pan[1]' to '0' by internal
This issue is caused by a software bug in the vega web application component of RoomOS 26.6 and 26.7. The bug affects the JavaScript filter function used for remote camera preset control through the web interface and Developer API. The TypeError occurs when the code attempts to use string indexing on a list object during camera preset activation processing.
Cisco Bug ID CSCwv66083 has been opened to track this issue. The bug affects the remote camera preset functionality while leaving local touch panel controls unaffected.
